  • In the app: press and hold anything on your screen, or open it in your Inbox, and tap Report. Choose a reason. It disappears for you right away.
  • Stop someone: open them in People, or open the group, and tap Block. They can’t beam to you any more. You can also take back anyone’s access without blocking them.
  • By email: write to [email protected] with the sender’s first name, the group or invite code if you have it, and the date. Please don’t attach the image if it’s sexual or shows a child.

A person reviews every report within 24 hours. Content that breaks our Terms is removed, and the people who post it are banned.

  • An intimate image of you, shared without your consent? Use the takedown form. We remove it within 48 hours.
  • Sexual content involving a child? Report it in the app or email us; we report it to NCMEC. You can also report it directly to NCMEC’s CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org or 1-800-843-5678.
  • Someone in danger? Call your local emergency number (911 in the US) first.

Common questions

My Lock Screen didn’t change.

Open Lock Beam and go to Settings → Setup. It shows which step needs attention: the Shortcut, Always Allow, the automation, or notifications. Follow that step and try again.

How do I stop beams for a while?

On My Screen, tap Pause. You can also restore your own background at any time.

Who can beam to my Lock Screen?

Only people you let in, and the members of groups you join. You can take back anyone’s access in People, or block them.

Can someone see my whole Lock Screen?

No. People who beam to you see only what they sent. In a group, members see the group’s shared screen, not your own Lock Screen.

How do I delete my data?

Go to Settings → Delete my data. It deletes your profile, connections and files, and removes what you’ve beamed from every Lock Screen. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Which iPhones work?

Lock Beam needs an iPhone with iOS 27. It’s for people aged 13 and over.
